Based upon John 6:24-35

The money you have in your pockets is there mostly because you earned it from your hard work.  That is true.  But, it is there only because of God.  God made the world in which you live and breathe.   God made the days and weeks in which you work.  God made you.  God also gave you the health and strength so that you could work.  Now, in this worship service, we have the privilege to keep most of that money to feed our families and provide for our households.  God only asks that you share a portion of it with his church.  The money is then distributed for the benefit of furthering God’s work.
