Based upon John 6:24-35

Dear Lord and Father of all humanity, relinquish us from our folly and sin.  We are not wise or righteous.  We are unable to live up to the values and virtues you would have of us.

Lead us to a better life– a life free from the dark shadows of doubt, fear, and hatred.   

As we are fed by your life giving gifts, fill us with new purpose.  Give the energy to lift ourselves out of depression to a fresh view of the beauty of the life you have to offer.  Give us courage to stand for what is right and good in your eyes. 

 We are the sheep of your pastures.  Lead us to the places where we can find life anew.

 Amen.
