Looking Forward to the City of God

Leader:   We come together today searching for the City of God.

People:  It is the hope of all the faithful.

Leader:  To live in peace and love with God is a noble aspiration.

People:  As we worship, we are striving for the peace and love God promises.

Leader:  God offers Peace and Love to all who believe and serve.

People:  We pray that we might be worthy of those gifts.

Leader:  Let us pray.

Unison:  Gracious God, we long to live in your presence.  In this worship service, assist us as we strive to prepare ourselves for our place in your City.  This we pray.  Amen.
