Based upon John 6:15-21

Leader:  God’s word is with us wherever we are.

People:  Just as the crowds gathered around Jesus seeking the miracles he performed, we gather here.

Leader:  Let us open our hearts and our minds to his words of wisdom and his acts of wonder.

People:  Our needs are great and our hearts yearn for a better life.

Leader:  Look around you at the universe God has given.  Witness to the beautiful and intricate design God has bestowed upon his creation.

People: God’s creation inspires us and feeds us.

Leader:  Let us pray.

Unison:  As we see and feel your creation, we become aware of the great love and care you placed in it, and in us.  Our minds can only penetrate so far into an understanding of the depths you have gone to show your love and care.   Guide us in our worship by inspiring us with your mighty works of love.  We pray to words Jesus taught us.  Our Father…
