Based upon Ephesians 5:15-20

The Loaf

Lord of the Bread of Life; fulfill us with your love and grace.  Open our minds to the promise of your gifts.  The gifts are there just as the consecrated bread is there on the table for us to take into us.  This bread which represents the body of your Son Jesus Christ will provide our spiritual needs forever.  Help us to realize your gift is for all who believe and practice your love and forgiveness fulfills us.  Amen.

 The Wine

 God of Love and forgiveness, bless us as we gather around this table.  As we partake of the wine placed here, fill us with a renewed life dedicated to the lifestyle Jesus taught us.  Guide us to a life of fulfillment.   Give us wisdom to avoid those temptations which lead us to illusions of satisfaction.  Let us realize that the pleasures of this world are transient and temporary while the spiritual food you provide is permanent and will provide for our needs forever.  Amen
