Based upon Ephesians 4:25 – 5:2

O God, Creator of Heaven and Earth,

Do you understand:
                Our anger?
                Our greed?
               Our jealousies?
                Our hate?
                Our bigotry?
                Our gluttony?
                Our hunger?
                Our need for attention?
                Our need of love?
                Our need for neighbors?

It is our prayer, that you understand.

It is our prayer that you
                Love us.
                Care for us.
                Feed our bodies.
                Feed our spirits.
                Forgive our sins.
                Reconcile our debts,
                                To you,
                                To society,
                                To each other,
                                To ourselves.

Amen.
