Offertory Prayer for the Eighth Sunday after Pentecost

Offertory Prayer for the Eighth Sunday after Pentecost

Based upon John 6:15-21

Accept us as we are dear Lord.  We know that we have narrow vision, and lack of understanding.  Like Jesus’ followers who shook with fear when they saw Jesus walking on the water and did not recognize him, we do not see the glory of your presence that is always around us and in us.

We offer ourselves and our resources to your purposes.

 Amen.
